Welcome and thank you for your interest in NAPAssess!

NAPAssess was designed for National Adaptation Action Programme (NAPA) processes in Sudan. Its main objective is to facilitate the process of identifying adaptation options as transparent and stakeholder-engaging as possible.

NAPAssess 

• Provides guidance and a step-by-step reference point for the major activities in the NAPA process as defined by the guidelines developed by the LDC Expert Group (LEG) -including:

• synergy assessment
• stakeholder engagement
• project prioritization
• project portfolio development

• Records, stores and provides the user access to output from each of the activities. In this regard, NAPAssess can be particularly useful as a platform for sharing project information with stakeholders, and in turn, for storing information from the stakeholder-driven activities -- participatory vulnerability assessment and scoping of adaptation options
• Conducts multi-criteria assessment (MCA) in a simple, straightforward way. NAPAssess streamlines the MCA process by housing all relevant project information on a single platform and supporting a transparent, user-friendly process for weighting project selection criteria.

NAPAssess was specifically designed for use in Sudan. Users should feel free to adapt the model to suit their needs and we at SEI-US Center would be happy to assist you in doing so.
